The ASUMH Community Collective, formerly the Alumni Association, brings together graduates, students, local businesses, and supporters to stay connected and engaged with our growing campus community. Through scholarships, alumni recognition, networking events, and fundraising efforts, the Collective plays a vital role in supporting ASUMH and its students. Stay connected. Stay involved. Our Mission: The mission of Arkansas State University, Mountain Home, Community Collective is to strengthen the connection of our community and friends through the creation of meaningful engagement opportunities, providing increased awareness and support of Arkansas State University, Mountain Home, and increasing member participation. Bringing graduates, students, businesses, and supporters together to stay engaged with ASUMH and our growing community.

The name of this organization is the Arkansas State University, Mountain Home Community Collective.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS
ASUMH Community Collective
A 2004 graduate of ASUMH with his Associate of Arts, 2006 Graduate of ASU with a BS in Management, and in 2009 with his MBA. Abijah has worked in higher education most of his working life, first at the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences, and the Arts, then at Galveston College, and finally at San Jacinto College in Houston Tx. His passion is meeting students where they are and opening doors that they did not know existed. Abijah is currently living in Little Rock Arkansas with his husband Frankie and their Yorkshire terrier Oliver where Abijah is in his first year of law school at the William H. Bowen School of Law.
Allen is a native of North Central Arkansas. He has an Associate of Arts from ASU-Mountain Home 2005, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas and is a graduate of the Barret School of Banking in Memphis. He is the past-Chairman of the Mountain Home Area Chamber of Commerce, is Treasurer of the Mountain Home Rotary Club. Allen is married to his wife Lauren (also a graduate of ASUMH) and they have one daughter Hannah.
Brandon Barnes was born and raised in Mountain Home. He graduated from ASU-Mountain Home in 2014 with an Associate of Arts and then from Arkansas State University with a Bachelor's in Finance in May 2016. Currently, Brandon is the Assistant Vice President of Lending for First Security Bank. Brandon has served the Twin Lakes Community through board memberships and Presidency of Kiwanis Club as well as autioneering for numerous local fundraising events. Brandon truly enjoys giving back fo the community. Brandon and his wife, Shawna, have two children, Walker and Brantley.
Adrienne Blackwell is a 2006 Graduate of ASU-Mountain Home where she earned an Associate of Arts degree. In 2011, she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Arkansas State University. Adrienne is the Deferred Giving Officer at Baxter Health Foundation. She is currently pursuing her Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) credentials through the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy. Prior to her current role, she spent 19 years in the finance industry before deciding to pursue healthcare philanthropy. Adrienne is a native to the Mountain Home area and loves the community she lives and serves in. Adrienne is a member of East Side Baptist Church. She loves to serve at her church and help with any area needed. She is a past member of the Business and Professional Women serving in various capacities on the board. She has helped with the community's annual Red, White, and Blue festival as the Vendor Coordinator. She is the previous Vice-Chair for Fuller Center for Housing of Baxter County. She is a past board member of Baxter Health Foundation prior to becoming an employee. When not at work, Adrienne can be found cheering on her kids at sporting events or crafting in her chatty shack. She has been married to her husband, Marc, for 17 year and they have 2 daughters, Kelsey and Addison.
David McBee is a 2006 Graduate of ASU-Mountain Home where he earned an Associate of Arts. In 2010 he received his Bachelor of Science in Management from Arkansas State University. David is an Executive Vice President with Arvest Bank since 2010 and completed Graduate School of Banking at LSU in 2017. Mr. McBee is a lifetime local of the Twin Lakes area has served his community as a past board member of Mountain Home Lions Club and as a Councilman for the City of Bull Shoals. He currently serves as a Board Member for the School of New Hope and Arisa Health. McBee was named Arkansan of the Week by Senator Tom Cotton in 2016 and was awarded the Modern Woodmen Hometown Hero Award in 2017. In his spare time, David is the lead play by play commentator for the Twin Lakes Sports Network covering local High School Football, Volleyball and Basketball. David and his wife, Kelly, have two children, Austin and Bethany.
Brooke is a 2017 graduate of ASU-Mountain Home with an Associates of Business, a 2019 Graduate of ASU-Jonesboro with a Bachelor's of Science in Management, and a 2025 graduate of ASU-Jonesboro with a Master of Science in Strategic Communications. She is currently the Director of Admissions & Recruitment at ASUMH. She owns a small business called BE Social- Social Media & Consulting and has local businesses as clients. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two babies, and English bulldog.
Cody McKee is a 2019 graduate of ASUMH with Associate of Arts degree in General Studies. He is also a 2020 graduate of Southern New Hampshire University with a Bachelor’s in General Studies with an emphasis in Environmental Science. McKee also holds certifications in Turfgrass Management from the University of Georgia and Integrated Pest Management from the University of Purdue. From 2020 to 2023 he was the Parks Supervisor for the City of Mountain Home where in 2021 McKee and his staff were awarded Athletic Field of the Year by the Arkansas Turfgrass Association. Before his role as Parks Supervisor, Cody worked in a management capacity for Lawns Plus and Mountain Milling Company, where he returned in 2023 to take on an ownership role. Cody is married to his wife Abigail and is a father of three children, Izaiah, River, and Drue. He is anactive member of the Arkansas Turfgrass Association, Sports Field Managers Association, and is a founding member and first president of the Arkansas Chapter of Sports Field Managers Association. Cody also serves as a committee member for the Coulter Celebration of Lights and “A Night to Shine”.
Tanya has lived in the Twin Lakes area most of her life. She graduated from Cotter High School, then attended ASUMH where she was a member of Phi Beta Lambda and graduated in 2004 with my Associate of Arts. Her banking career began soon after and has been with First Security Bank for 14 years, now as Retail Operations Manager, Vice-President. In 2024, she graduated from Barret School of Banking in Memphis. She was an active member with Junior Auxiliary of Mountain Home for 5 years and served as a board member, treasurer and now Lifetime member. She enjoys the lakes, rivers, fishing and kayaking along with her husband, Ron, of 10 years. Her daughter, Alyssa, is a recent MHHS Graduate and is currently attending ASUMH.
Mason Campbell is a 2006 graduate of ASU-Mountain Home with an Associate of Arts Degree, a 2008 graduate of ASU with a Bachelors of Science in Management, a 2014 graduate of ASU with a Master of Science in Education, and a 2020 graduate of UA-Little Rock with a Master of Arts in Higher Education. He has a career dedicated to student success and academic policy in the state of Arkansas. In his current role at the Arkansas Division of Higher Education as Assistant Commissioner of Academic Affairs (appointed March 2023), he acts as the primary liaison between the ADHE and chief academic officers across state and national groups. Before his appointment to the Commissioner's office, Campbell held several leadership positions at higher education institutions in Arkansas.
