About This Program
Automotive Systems Repair is a high demand career. If you aren’t sure it is the choice for you, the certificate of proficiency can be completed in just eight weeks. All the classes will apply toward either the technical certificate or the Associate of Applied Science.
While the certificate of proficiency does not teach all the technical skills needed for a career in automotive systems repair, it does provide a solid introduction and provides an opportunity for you to see if a career in the automotive field is for you.
Still in high school? Automotive Systems Repair is one of the programs offered through the ASUMH Secondary Center. That means you can start taking classes before graduating from high school. Contact your counselor or ASUMH for more information!

Stackable Credentials are Technical Certificates that might be “stacked” to meet requirements for a higher-level certificate or degree program like an associate's degree.
Transferable Degrees
>Any student who earns the Associate of Applied Science at ASUMH may be admitted to the Bachelor of Applied Science in Organizational Supervision at ASUJ in either the on-campus or A-State Online program with full junior classification, subject to completing the admission requirements for ASUJ.
