You will receive double credits, one counting for your high school transcript and the other for your college transcript.

All Secondary Center classes count toward an Associate of Applied Science degree, offered at ASUMH.

The number of college credits you can earn depends on your program of study and the courses you complete while enrolled in the Secondary Center. Many students graduate high school with a significant number of college credits already earned, allowing them to save time and money as they continue their education after graduation.
The Secondary Center is designed for area high school juniors and seniors who receive approval from their home high school. Students can enroll in career and technical education programs such as Automotive Systems Repair, Criminal Justice, Marine Manufacturing, Mechatronics/Machining, Medical Professions, and Welding while earning college credit
Students interested in enrolling should speak with their high school counselor to determine eligibility and course availability. Once approved by their high school, students can work with the Secondary Center and ASUMH staff to complete the enrollment process and register for classes.
