Terri Anderson is an Assistant Professor of History at Arkansas State University Mountain Home, where she has been teaching since 2010. She has more than 18 years teaching history in the community college system.
Prior to her appointment at ASUMH, Dr. Anderson was an Assistant Professor of History at Bluegrass Community College in Lexington, KY. Additionally, she created and set up the Social Science division at three branch campuses of BCTC. She was involved in the International Teaching Association, where she taught Modern Europe and Czech Republic/German History in Prague, Czech Republic, during summer semesters.
Before Dr. Anderson became a Professor of History, she was Director/Curator at the Kentucky Music Museum and Hall of Fame, where she was responsible for designing the new building, creating exhibits by working with professional entertainers of music who were born in Kentucky in acquiring personal artifacts; to name a few were The Everly Bros., Loretta Lynn, Backstreet Boys, The Judds, Nappy Root, and the River City Drum Corp. Dr. Anderson was the first designer and coordinator for the Inaugural Music Gala.
She was also involved with history programming at the Mary Todd Lincoln House, Lexington History Museum in Lexington, Boonesborough Historical Site, and the Frazier Historical Arms and International History Museum in Louisville. As a professional reenactor, Dr. Anderson performed at Revolutionary War sites Blue Licks and Philadelphia; at the War of 1812 site, Fort Meigs; and at Civil War sites including Gettysburg, Antietam, Chickamauga, Perryville, and Shiloh.
At ASUMH, Dr. Anderson involves her history students with the community by having them complete history projects at the Baxter County Historical Society and the Wolf House in Norfork.
Dr. Anderson holds a Doctor of Education in Instructional Leadership degree from Northcentral University, a Master of Arts degree in History from Arkansas State University, a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and an Associate of Arts degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Stephanie Beaver has been with Arkansas State University-Mountain Home (ASUMH) since 2018 –starting as a part-time Recruiter, before moving to full-time Recruiter, and now Director of Enrollment Services. As Admissions Coordinator, it is her job to help students get enrolled at ASU-Mountain Home and to support their success once they are here.
It was at Arkansas Tech University, while working in the Honors College, that Stephanie found her passion for helping students navigate the college world. Throughout undergrad, she got a chance to work in many areas including orientation, student activities, residence life, and Greek life. After graduating with Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Sociology, Stephanie went to the University of Arkansas to pursue her Master’s degree in Higher Education. While there, she worked in Graduate Recruitment and interned in Veteran’s Affairs.
After completing her Master’s degree, Stephanie moved to Ireland to live and work for a year. At the end of that year, she moved home and she’s been with us ever since. As well as working at the college, she is involved in the community as a mentor at Mountain Home High School and a board member for the Schliemann Center for Women’s Health and Salvation Army.
Ashley Bourg is a dedicated community leader and advocate for youth, currently serving as Chairman of the Salvation Army Advisory Board and as a Mountain Home Chamber Ambassador. Since moving to the Twin Lakes area in 2014, Ashley has become deeply rooted in the Mountain Home community, finding joy in raising her family here and supporting local initiatives.
Originally from a rural farming community in Northeast Arkansas, Ashley developed a strong appreciation for the outdoors and animals early in life. She has pursued education in business and digital design, earning certifications in Small Business Ownership and Interior Design. Ashley also completed the Mountain Home Chamber Leadership Program, further strengthening her commitment to leadership and service.
Ashley and her husband, Jason, are the proud owners of Bourg Builders Inc., a local construction company. Together, they’re raising five children—Blair, Bryson, Brennen, Jillian, and Wyatt—which keeps their household lively and full of energy. Along with her human family, Ashley has two dogs, Scarlett and Roux, and a small flock of chickens affectionately known as "the chicks." She's always dreaming up new home design projects or lobbying her husband for their next animal addition.
With a passion for working with young people, Ashley is driven to provide mentorship and support to the next generation. She believes every child deserves to feel valued, have structure, and be given the chance to succeed. Guided by the principle, “Be who you needed when you were younger,” Ashley strives to prepare today’s youth to not only face the world—but to lead it.
Landon Hay is a native of Lawrence, KS and has been coaching baseball at the collegiate level since 2017. A graduate of Washburn University in Topeka, KS, Hay began his coaching career at Missouri Southern State University where he also graduated with his masters degree. After his time at Missouri Southern, Coach Hay spent time as the assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Benedictine College in Atchison, KS. Most recently, Coach Hay has been the head baseball coach at Highland Community College in Kansas. A position he held from January, 2021 thru May 2025.
During his time at Highland, Scottie Baseball saw over 60 players sign letters of intent to continue their playing careers at the 4-year level with 12 of those players signing NCAA division 1 letters of intent. Christy Case Keirn is the Associate Vice Chancellor for Marketing and Community Relations at Arkansas State University-Mountain Home (ASUMH) where she has worked since 2007. In this role, she oversees recruiting, marketing, and performing arts programming.
She has more than 30 years of experience in advertising, marketing, and media relations. Prior to her appointment at ASUMH, she worked at the University of Mississippi as the Director of External Relations for the Center for the Study of Southern Culture. In addition, she was Director of Public Relations at McComb Public School District in McComb, Mississippi, for more than ten years. During that time, she served as President of the Mississippi School Public Relations Association.
An active volunteer, Christy has served as President of the National Association of Junior Auxiliaries, a 16,000-member organization of volunteers who provide charitable services with an emphasis on children. She served as President of the Mountain Home Area Chamber of Commerce in 2019 and served as a volunteer for Baxter County Forward, a long-range planning initiative for Baxter County. She was awarded the 2018 Spirit Award by the Mountain Home Area Chamber of Commerce.
Christy holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Mississippi College and a Master of Science in Higher Education Administration from Bay Path University. She served as District 4 Director for the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations in 2013.
Tamya Stallings is the Chief Information Officer at Arkansas State University-Mountain Home where she has worked since July 2019. In this role, she oversees computer hardware/software support, Learning Management System, Student Information System, network (hard wired and wireless), and the phone system.
Tamya started her career in Higher Education in 1998 working at Black River Technical College as a computer technician. She then took a job at Arkansas State University-Newport in 1999 as Network Manager starting the first Computer Services Department at the campus. She then became the Director of Computer Services in 2001 as ASUN became a stand-alone campus. She worked there for over 19 years before taking the role at ASUMH.
An active volunteer, Tamya has served as Portfest Director, Junior Auxiliary of Jackson County President, Girl Scout Leader, tball coach, AWANA Director, Iron Mountain Regional Arts Council, Delta Arts Festival volunteer, and New Vision Newport Steering Committee.
Tamya holds a Bachelor Degree from Arkansas State University-Jonesboro in Management Information Systems and a Masters in Higher Education with an emphasis in Information Technology from the University of Arkansas Little Rock.
