Bio:
Christy Case Keirn is the Associate Vice Chancellor for Marketing and Community Relations at Arkansas State University-Mountain Home (ASUMH) where she has worked since 2007. In this role, she oversees recruiting, marketing, and community education. In addition, she coordinates the performing arts series at ASUMH, now in its tenth season.  Christy also serves as an adjunct instructor in Marketing and Business Communications at ASUMH.

She has more than 30 years of experience in advertising, marketing, and media relations. Prior to her appointment at ASUMH, she worked at the University of Mississippi as the Director of External Relations for the Center for the Study of Southern Culture. In addition, she was Director of Public Relations at McComb Public School District in McComb, Mississippi, for more than ten years.  During that time, she served as President of the Mississippi School Public Relations Association.

An active volunteer, Christy has served as President of the National Association of Junior Auxiliaries, a 16,000-member organization of volunteers who provide charitable services with an emphasis on children. She served as President of the Mountain Home Area Chamber of Commerce in 2019 and served as a volunteer for Baxter County Forward, a long-range planning initiative for Baxter County.  She was awarded the 2018 Spirit Award by the Mountain Home Area Chamber of Commerce.

Christy holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Mississippi College and a Master of Science in Higher Education Administration from Bay Path University. She served as District 4 Director for the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations in 2013.
