Education is how dreams come true. The staff of the Scholarships and Financial Aid Office is here to help you seek the finances to make your dreams into reality. In addition to traditional academic programs, ASUMH offers a variety of services to serve the community. Secondary Center classes are offered for students in K-12 schools in the area. Community Education classes are offered for life-long learning and are just for fun. There are no tests or grades and these short-term courses are not for credit. Workforce Training programs are often customized for business and industry and both for-credit and not-for-credit classes.

12th Annual Digital Photography Contest Winners Announced

Winners of the 12th Annual Digital Photography Contest have been announced. The contest is sponsored by Arkansas State University-Mountain Home (ASUMH), Integrity First Bank, The Baxter Bulletin and Donald W. Reynolds Library serving Baxter County. Exhibition of all 2017 entries will be available online at mtnhomedigitalphotocontestshow.businesscatalyst.com and on a new digital, interactive public display at the sponsor locations beginning on the second floor of the Vada Sheid Community Development Center (The Sheid) through June 1. The exhibit will then be transferred to the Donald W. Reynolds (Baxter County) Library from Monday, June 5 – Friday, June 16. The next stop for the artwork is the main branch of Integrity First Bank, Tuesday, June 20 – June 30. The last stop for the photo display is the Integrity First Bank branch near Wal-Mart, Wednesday, July 5 – Friday, July 28.

A reception for winners will take place at Donald W. Reynolds Library on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 5:15 p.m. The "Best in Show" Grand Prize will be $100 and a prize package. More cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place in each category will be awarded. A special thank you to all judges, sponsors, photographers and to local schools, KTLO and The Baxter Bulletin for promoting the contest.
