We live in trout country! Have you always wanted to learn to fly fish? Here's your chance!

Beginning Fly Fishing meets four times and is taught by John Berry and Lori Sloas, a local husband/wife team of professional guides with over 25 years of experience in guiding and fly fishing instruction. Structured for the beginner or novice angler, the class is designed to develop confidence on stream and covers all of the basic skills necessary for success.

Learn basic fly casting, equipment selection, water safety, reading the water, stream entomology, fly selection, knot tying, and fishing techniques. Cost: $100

This class meets on Thursdays for four weeks April 2, 9, 16, and 23, 6-8 p.m., in Dryer Hall D102 on the Arkansas State University-Mountain Home campus.
