Information Technology Manager

Arkansas State University-Mountain Home seeks applicants for an Information Technology Manager. The IT Manager is responsible for installations, configurations, and support of ASUMH’s server and network infrastructure. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and five years of related experience. Compensation includes an annual salary commensurate with education and experience, and includes a comprehensive benefits and leave package.

Job Description:

The Information Technology Manager is responsible for:

Installation, configuration, and support of Arkansas State University Mountain Home's server and network infrastructure.
Maintaining routine server backups.
Administering Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, and various other server based application administration tasks, including maintaining and configuring integrations to third party applications like Office 365.
Maintaining and administering the campus VOIP phone system.
Regulating access to computer data files and preventing unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure of information.
Implementing avoidance measures, such as logging, firewalling, activity monitors, virus scanners, or other intrusion detection methods.
Assisting users in the detection and recovery from security intrusions on their computer systems.
Performing security audits on portions of the network as directed by the Director of Computer Services.
Contacting appropriate personnel in the event of a security intrusion or policy violation.
Contacting users with audit information and assists with techniques to eliminate or minimize vulnerabilities.
Maintaining the Aruba Network and wireless systems.
Integrations with the new Banner system.
