Part-Time Special Events Worker
Job Description
Arkansas State University – Mountain Home seeks applicants for a part-time Special Events worker. The Special Events worker operates under the direct supervision of the Technical Director/Media Specialist and is responsible for assisting in the oversight and coordination of special events and operating and maintaining multi-media equipment, including sound and lighting systems, for special events. Also includes set-up of facilities and occasional operation of the ticket box office. This individual will work approximately 29 hours per week and will include evening and weekend work for special events. Other requirements include, but are not limited to, the following: frequent interaction with others, the ability to lift up to 75 lbs., manage overhead work, carrying, moving, and setting up equipment, and unloading and re-loading of heavy musical equipment and gear. Climbing, bending, and lifting are essential requirements for this position. The pay rate for the Special Events Worker is $11.00 per hour.
