Career Pathways


What is Career Pathways?

The Arkansas Career Pathways Initiative enables local two-year colleges like ASU-Mountain Home to offer free career training and college classes to those who qualify.

STUDENT BENEFITS:

  • Childcare cost assistance, gas reimbursements, tuition & fees, program supplies, laptop loans and other direct educational expenses
  • Advising to assist with career and educational decisions
  • Assistance in finding jobs while in school and careers upon graduation

ELIGIBILITY:

  • You must be a parent, with children under age 21 living in your home, AND
  • Income eligible adult with a dependent child(ren) earning less than or equal to the 250% of the federal poverty limit, OR
  • Families with adults and dependent children who receive TEA (former and current), SNAP, Medicaid, ARKids, HUD, SSI, SSD or WIC

*Please note that there may be other eligibility requirements for enrollment in the Career Pathways program. 

How do I apply?

Simply contact our Career Pathways office, located in on the 1st floor of Roller Hall in the Norma Wood Library, and they will be happy to walk you through the application process!
