Avery Price Named New Softball Coach for TrailBlazers

Arkansas State University-Mountain Home is excited to welcome Avery Price to our at athletic department as our new head softball coach. 

A native of Longview, Texas, Coach Price was a three-year varsity starter at Longview High School, earning 2nd Team All-District honors as an infielder in 2019 while posting a .303 career batting average.

She continued her playing career as a middle infielder at the University of Arkansas Rich Mountain, where she made 142 plate appearances over two seasons.

In the classroom, Coach Price was equally impressive — graduating with a 3.8 GPA, earning Vice Chancellor’s List honors in 2021, and being inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.

About the hire, Athletic Director Spencer Adcock said, "We are thrilled to add Coach Price to our program and look forward to the positive impact she will have on our student-athletes both on and off the field!"
