Golden Age Students
Golden Age Students
Students who are 60 years of age or older at the time of registration receive a tuition waiver and are considered Golden Age students. While these students do not pay tuition, it is important to know that they will be responsible for any fees that are related to the course. This waiver is limited to regular semester credit courses and applies only if the class has sufficient enrollment and space is available. To apply for Golden-Age admission, complete the admission process.
Golden-Age students must submit the following credentials before registering:
A formal application for admission at www.asumh.edu/apply.
Placement test scores (ACT, SAT, or Accuplacer) that are less than 6 years old. In accordance with state law, test scores are required for placement in math, English, and reading.
Send an official high school transcript, results of the GED exam, or official transcripts from a previous college or university.
Note: Golden-Age student registration is scheduled for the final day of open registration. Only classes with available space will be open for Golden-Age enrollment.
