Coulter Celebration of Lights Sets Record Attendance and Donations in 2025

The Coulter Celebration of Lights wrapped up its fifth year with record-setting attendance and donations, marking 2025 as the most successful season in the event’s history. More visitors than ever before experienced the award-winning drive-through light show, with guests traveling from across the community, the region, and beyond Arkansas. According to official car count data provided by the Mountain Home Area Chamber of Commerce’s Placer data, a total of 10,600 vehicles traveled through the exhibits this season. In addition, a record $40,843.90 was collected in donations at the exit gate, further highlighting the community’s generosity and support.
Mayor Hillrey Adams of the City of Mountain Home expressed his appreciation for everyone who contributed to the event’s success. "Thanks so much to sponsors, volunteers, and all the employees of the City of Mountain Home and Arkansas State University–Mountain Home who made this happen,” Adams said. “A huge thanks also to those who placed donations in the buckets, which makes it possible for us to continue this show for the pleasure of so many visitors to the community and the ASUMH campus.”
Dr. Bentley Wallace, Chancellor of Arkansas State University–Mountain Home, echoed that gratitude and emphasized the event’s growing impact. “Seeing both attendance and donations reach their highest levels yet is incredibly encouraging,” Wallace said.
These numbers reflect a 17.2% growth in the number of cars visiting the Coulter Celebration of Lights, and a growth of 10.7% in donations collected at the gates over last year.
“The steady growth over the past five years tells us that the Coulter Celebration of Lights has become something people truly value for its beauty and as a way to give back during the holiday season. This event would not be possible without the strong partnership we share with the City of Mountain Home, whose support helps turn a great idea into a true community tradition,” said Wallace.
The Coulter Celebration of Lights continues to strengthen its reputation as a beloved holiday tradition, bringing together community members, visitors, and partners while showcasing the spirit of generosity that defines the Mountain Home area. The event is a partnership between the City of Mountain Home and Arkansas State University-Mountain Home. In its fifth year, the Coulter Celebration of Lights is an award-winning drive-through light festival on the campus of Arkansas State University-Mountain Home.
