2026 Academic All-Star Awarded to Joseph Vrechek V
MAY 06, 2026

Each year, Arkansas State University-Mountain Home (ASUMH) and Arkansas Community Colleges (ACC) present the Arkansas Two-Year Colleges Academic All-Star Scholarship Program. The purpose of this program is to recognize the scholarly and service achievements of Arkansas two-year college students. We are proud to announce the ASUMH 2026 Academic All-Star is Joseph Vrechek V.
At ASUMH, Joseph is a Student Ambassador, a member of Phi Theta Kappa and the Fran Coulter Honors Program, a member of the ASUMH Esports Team, and involved in Shared Governance through the Curriculum committee. He will also be serving as Student Government Association President for the 26-27 school year. He pursues academic excellence while balancing work, his auto detailing business, and service in his church, where he helps lead singing. He plans to transfer to the University of Arkansas to study Computer Engineering before attending law school. His long-term goal is to become a prosecutor, where he hopes to serve his community in the ways he knows best.
Joseph added, “Outside of academics, I enjoy reading, writing, esports, and spending time with my beautiful girlfriend, whose support motivates me to keep striving for success. I am honored to be recognized as an Academic All-Star and look forward to continuing to grow through hard work, leadership, faith, and education.”
Congratulations to Joseph on this great accomplishment!
