Get a jump start on your college education by taking classes through the ASUMH Secondary Center while you're still in high school. Here's why you should:
It's free! Tuition and fees typically range from $143 to $193 per credit hour. Most students complete 8 - 16 credit hours at no cost.
You will receive double credits, one counting for your high school transcript and the other for your college transcript.
You can earn a Certificate of Proficiency from ASUMH before graduating high school.
All Secondary Center classes count toward an Associate of Applied Science degree, offered at ASUMH.
ABOUT THE TECHNICAL CENTER
The ASUMH Dr. Robert L. Myers Technical Education Campus, located at 4034 Highway 62 West (two miles west of the main campus), serves as a secondary center for area high school students. The Myers Technical Education Campus opened for the fall semester in 2014 and is an approved site by the Arkansas Department of Career Education to provide training for area high school Juniors and Seniors with the opportunity to earn college credit while still in high school.
