Career Pathways Grant Program
Overcome Barriers
Arkansas Career Pathways Initiative is a program that enables your local two-year college to offer those who qualify free career training and college classes. But that's not all. In addition to free training and college classes, the Pathways program can help students overcome the barriers that have kept them from getting the training and education they need. Benefits
Career Pathways participants will have access to:
- Advising to assist with career and educational decisions
- Childcare cost assistance, gas reimbursements, tuition & fees, program supplies, laptop loans and other direct educational expenses
- Assistance in finding jobs while in school and careers upon graduation
Eligibility
- You must be a parent, with children under age 21 living in your home, AND
- Income eligible adult with a dependent child(ren) earning less than or equal to the 250% of the federal poverty limit, OR
- Families with adults and dependent children who receive TEA (former and current), SNAP, Medicaid, ARKids, HUD, SSI, SSD or WIC
