About This Program
Our general transfer degree is the Associate of Arts degree. The Associate of Arts degree satisfies the general education requirements of a baccalaureate degree at participating four-year institutions. Associate of Arts graduates are prepared to continue their education in such fields as social work, art, psychology, biology, English, and numerous other areas. The degree consists of 60 credit hours and students must earn a minimum of a 2.0 GPA to earn the credential.
Academic Transfer Agreements
Students may choose to pursue the Associate of Arts Degree which offers several paths for transfer to Arkansas State University to continue their education. ASUMH students who complete their Associate of Arts Degree and have fulfilled all admission requirements to ASU will be admitted with full junior classification.
