Work Experience Toolkit
Welcome
Welcome to Arkansas State University – Mountain Home! We are excited to have you as part of our team. To help you get started, here is a Work Experience Toolkit. Please review this information carefully for important information, dates and notices. If you have questions about any of the forms or policies, you may call Human Resources. We can also set up a time for you to come in to review and answer any questions you may have.
STEP 1: Work Experience Application
Please complete the Work Experience Application Form and return it to Human Resources. Note: You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view these documents. All new volunteers should print and complete the following forms and return them to Human Resources. If you are unable to print the forms we will gladly provide you with a hard copy.
STEP 2: Background Check
Once your Work Experience Application has been reviewed and accepted, Human Resources will send an email with information on how you can initiate the background check. Please click the link in the email to enter your information and authorization for the background check to be performed. All Work Experience participants must satisfactorily complete the background check before beginning any volunteer work, so please allow for 5-10 days for processing. Here is a copy of the FTC Summary of Consumer Rights regarding background checks.
STEP 3: Required Videos
The following links will take you to two videos that are required viewing for all Work Experience participants. The videos must be viewed and the following forms turned in along with your other forms.
