Job Description
Job Title: Clinical Nurse Educator
Location: Baxter Health, Mountain Home, Arkansas
Position Overview:
ASUMH seeks applicants for a full-time 12-month Clinical Nurse Educator. The Clinical Nurse Educator will be placed at Baxter Health and is a key position funded through the ALIGN (Arkansas Linking Industry to Growing Nurses) grant for a two-year term. This position is responsible for the onboarding and development of clinical instructors and students, ensuring a standardized and high-quality clinical experience. The Clinical Nurse Educator serves as a crucial liaison between Baxter Health and ASUMH, facilitating communication and collaboration to support the institution's mission and strategic objectives.
Qualifications:
Minimum requirements include a current LPN or RN license in the state of Arkansas, three years of clinical nursing experience with experience in nursing education or administration preferred.
Other qualifications include:
· Strong organizational and communication skills
· Proficiency in using education technology and simulation tools.
· Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and academic staff.
· Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students.
Compensation includes an annual salary commensurate with background and experience, and a comprehensive benefits and leave package.
