About This Program

Harness your talent to create professional designs that pop with our AAS Digital Design. Combining time-tested aesthetic principles with production processes for today’s digital media environment, this program equips you to bring your ideas to life.

Digital Designers combine words and images to create visual messages to inform, persuade, sell, entertain or capture the interest of a specific audience. This is done primarily by designing print, web and interactive multimedia using a variety of industry standard design software. ASUMH Digital Design degree features a core curriculum of design instruction that covers principles of typography, composition, and color theory, along with creation methods for websites, digital illustrations, interactive media, and traditional print or packaging design.

Transferable Degrees & Stackable Credentials
Transferrable degrees are programs of study that allow students to complete general education courses. Many students who intend to transfer to another college/university complete these degree programs.
Stackable Credentials are Technical Certificates that might be “stacked” to meet requirements for a higher-level certificate or degree program like an associate's degree.
