CINAHL® with Full Text - A rich collection of full text for nursing & allied health journals, providing full text for more than 610 journals indexed in CINAHL®. This authoritative file contains full text for many of the most used journals in the CINAHLindex, with no embargo. Full-text coverage dates back to 1981.


CQ Electronic Library - A database of in-depth, authoritative reports on a full range of political and social-policy issues extending back to 1923. Each report is footnoted and includes an overview, background section, chronology, bibliography and debate-style pro-con feature, plus tools to study the evolution of the topic over time.


Ebook Central on ProQuest - Collection of more than 40,000 full-text multidisciplinary eBook titles trusted by community, further education, technical, and vocational colleges around the world. GreenFILE - Offers well-researched information covering all aspects of human impact to the environment. Its collection of scholarly, government, and general-interest titles includes content on global warming, green building, pollution, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, recycling, and more. The database provides indexing and abstracts for more than 384,000 records, as well as Open Access full text for more than 4,700 records.


JSTOR - A multidisciplinary full-text scholarly journal archive that offers back issues of journals, some as far back as the 1800s. As JSTOR's main focus is archiving scholarly journals, you generally will not find the most current issues of journals here, but you will find articles from older issues of journals that may not be available in other databases. The library currently subscribes to the following archival collections: Arts & Sciences I, V, VII.

Database Tutorial

The library offers a free, non-credit library database tutorial available via Blackboard for any student enrolled at ASUMH. It features PowerPoint presentations on how to use library databases, short quizzes to help you master the content, and printable help sheets. Students are automatically enrolled in this “Information Literacy” tutorial when they are assigned an ASUMH Blackboard account.

An important part of the Leadership Intern program is service to others. Reaching back after you have been through the program and helping a new member of the program is encouraged. Consider the list of ideas below and mark at least two things you would be willing to do.

  2. I will maintain at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA.
  3. I will attend orientation, retreat, by-monthly meetings with my mentor(s), and any other required activities on the attached required activities list.

  5. I will provide feedback to the mentors.
