The most important thing you can do for financial aid is to complete your FAFSA application. FAFSA stands for Free Application for Student Aid. Once processed, the FAFSA will give you an idea of how much you might receive from federal assistance programs and grants, how much you'll be eligible to borrow through federal loans, and how much you’ll need to supplement through scholarships and private lending agencies. You cannot receive any financial aid without completing the FAFSA.
