Tuition and Fees

How much do classes cost?

The price of each class is calculated per credit hour, so your cost will depend on several different things: Is the class online or seated? Is it 3 credit hours or 4 credit hours? Does the course include a lab?

Check out a full list of Tuition and Fees to get an idea of your total cost -- keep in mind that generally speaking, most full-time students will owe under $2,500 per semester.

When do I need to pay for my classes?

Tuition & fee payments are due by noon on the Friday prior to the first day of class each semester. This means that if your bill is not fully paid by some form of financial aid, then it is very important to contact the Cashier to make payment arrangements. Payment plans are available, so reach out to the Cashier at your earliest convenience.

What if I have more financial aid than it costs me to attend?

If you have more financial aid than it costs you to attend school here, you could receive two things:

  • Book Vouchers: A book voucher is a portion of your financial aid that can be used in the ASUMH Bookstore. This means that you can purchase textbooks, school supplies, technology, and much more without any money coming out of your pocket. Any book voucher money that is not spent in the Bookstore will be refunded to you.

  • Financial Aid Refunds: If you have been awarded more financial aid (scholarships, grants, loans) than it costs you to attend school here, the leftover funds will be refunded to you. These refunds will not be distributed until the sixth week of classes -- to ensure the quickest refund, complete a Direct Deposit form.
