The staff in the Office of Admissions are here to help you get all required documents in, provide you with assistance in dropping a course, send your ASUMH transcript, change your major, and more. Career Placement

Not sure where you're headed? We have several resources to help you decide which career field best suits you and how to get there! We encourage you to first check out Career Coach -- a program dedicated to helping you discover majors and in-demand careers and education based on your interests.

Our Career Placement Coordinator is also here to help you in determining and succeeding in a chosen career. Disability & Accessibility Services

The ASU-Mountain Home Office of Disability Services offers access to all suitable services to students with documented disabilities. Each student using services through the Office of Disability Services receives individual attention from the coordinator. This individualized service provides an avenue to customize accommodations that relate to each student’s strengths and weaknesses and creates access to ideal learning in the higher education arena. These services include accommodations associated with the classroom, testing, assistive technology, and advocacy and study skills guidance. 

Eligibility for services is determined on an individual basis after making contact with the Office of Disability Services. Students are responsible for initiating contact to request accommodations each semester and must provide adequate disability documentation prior to receiving accommodations. Adequacy of disability documentation is determined based on "reasonable" accommodation standards. Quality documentation should include properly credentialed professionals, diagnostic statements, diagnostic and limitation descriptions, current and past accommodations, and/or recommendations for accommodations.

Mental Health Services

In an effort to support the mental health of our students, ASUMH contracts with Lighthouse Counseling to provide up to 6 free counseling sessions for enrolled students. Lighthouse Counseling, located at 15 E 5th Street in Mountain Home, has a team of mental health professionals who desire to carefully navigate the many struggles that arise in life and purposefully but gracefully walk through them with you. You can schedule an appointment by phone at 870-425-2030 or online at lighthousecounselingozarks.com by using the "request more information" area at the bottom of the homepage. When scheduling, be sure to mention you are an ASUMH student.


Unplanned Pregnancy and STD Resources

If you are worried about an unplanned pregnancy or STD/STI, you are not alone. Informed Choices Women’s Center in Mountain Home is a safe place to get answers about your pregnancy or your STD/STI. They offer no-cost pregnancy services, STD/STI testing, and education about pregnancy options. They will help you get the insight you need to move forward. In Mountain Home, they are located at 312 E. 3rd Street and their hours are Monday-Thursday: 10am-6pm and Wednesday: 10am-5:30pm.
