The goal of the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid is to help finance your Arkansas State University – Mountain Home education. We offer assistance to anyone applying for grant and scholarship funding from a variety of sources. Education is how dreams come true. The staff of the Scholarships and Financial Aid Office is here to help you seek the finances to make your dreams into reality. Students should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at fafsa.gov each spring using school code 042544, to apply for grants from the Federal government. Follow the links below to view short video tutorials to help you complete the FAFSA application process. Arkansas residents may apply for grants and scholarships from the State of Arkansas at scholarships.adhe.edu between October 1st and June 1st each year.

Complete our ASUMH Scholarship Application each year to be considered for scholarships available from Arkansas State University – Mountain Home. Arkansas residents who are first time college students should check our Scholarships information about the Academic Distinction Scholarship.


We also offer assistance to Active duty military, Veteran’s, and their dependents with finding education funding sources, including the Veterans Administration. More Information is available on our Veterans Information page.

Step Up, Reach Back Intern Application

An important part of the Leadership Intern program is service to others. Reaching back after you have been through the program and helping a new member of the program is encouraged. Consider the list of ideas below and mark at least two things you would be willing to do.

Statement of Commitment
By signing this form, I agree to the following:
  1. I will enroll in at least 6 credit hours per semester.
  2. I will maintain at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA.
  3. I will attend orientation, retreat, by-monthly meetings with my mentor(s), and any other required activities on the attached required activities list.
  4. I will participate in planning and executing a leadership event.
  5. I will provide feedback to the mentors.
