Job Description
ASUMH seeks qualified applicants for the Vice Chancellor for Institutional Advancement position. The Vice Chancellor for Institutional Advancement at Arkansas State University-Mountain Home (ASUMH) is a key executive leader responsible for advancing the institution's mission, goals, and community impact. Reporting directly to the Chancellor and as part of the Chancellor’s Executive Cabinet, the Vice Chancellor oversees a diverse team and range of functional areas aimed at enhancing institutional reputation, visibility, and financial sustainability. Through strategic planning, relationship building, and innovative initiatives, the Vice Chancellor plays a pivotal role in driving growth and engagement across campus and within the broader community.
- Bachelor's degree required; master’s degree preferred in a relevant field such as higher education administration, marketing, communications, business, or related discipline.
- A minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in institutional advancement, marketing, communications, or related fields, preferably in higher education or similar nonprofit sector.
- Demonstrated leadership ability, with experience managing teams, budgets, and complex projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.
- Strong strategic planning and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective strategies to achieve organizational goals.
- Knowledge of best practices in fundraising, marketing, communications, and community engagement.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a commitment to fostering a culture of inclusion.
- Alignment with the chancellor’s vision and goals for a highly productive executive leadership team.
Compensation includes an annual salary commensurate with background and experience, and a comprehensive benefits and leave package.
