Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration/CFO
Job Description
ASUMH seeks qualified applicants for the Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration/Chief Financial Officer(CFO) position. The Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration/CFO at Arkansas State University-Mountain Home (ASUMH) is a key executive leader responsible for providing strategic vision, leadership, and oversight of all financial and administrative functions to support the institution's mission and strategic objectives. Reporting directly to the Chancellor, and as part of the Chancellor’s Executive Cabinet, the Vice Chancellor/CFO leads a diverse team and serves as the principal advisor on financial matters, and collaborates with campus stakeholders to ensure fiscal integrity, transparency, and accountability across all areas of the college.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or related field required.
- Minimum of five years of senior-level leadership experience in finance and administration, preferably in a university system model, community college, and/or higher education or similar complex organizational setting.
- Community college, technical college, or other relevant higher education experience in Arkansas preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of financial management principles, budgeting, and accounting practices.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data, forecast trends, and make strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, financial software, and technology solutions. Banner / Ellucian experience preferred.
- Commitment to integrity, transparency, and ethical standards in financial management and administration.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work independently, and lead teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Alignment with the chancellor’s vision and goals for a highly productive executive leadership team.
Compensation includes an annual salary commensurate with background and experience, and a comprehensive benefits and leave package.
