Registrar
Job Description
ASUMH seeks qualified applicants for the Registrar position. The Registrar at Arkansas State University-Mountain Home (ASUMH) serves as the chief custodian of student records and enrollment data, responsible for overseeing the integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality of academic records and transcripts. Reporting to the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, the Registrar provides leadership and direction for the Office of the Registrar, ensuring compliance with institutional policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices in student information management.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in higher education administration, student affairs, or related field preferred; Certified Registrar (CRA) or similar certification preferred.
- Minimum of three years of experience in registrar services or related areas, with progressive responsibility and supervisory experience.
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, student services software, and technology solutions. Banner / Ellucian experience preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of student information systems (SIS), data management principles, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret and apply academic policies and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Commitment to customer service excellence, confidentiality, and ethical standards in student information management.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation includes an annual salary commensurate with background and experience, and a comprehensive benefits and leave package.
