Director of Title III and Student Success
Job Description
Arkansas State University Mountain Home (ASUMH) is seeking a full-time Director of Title III and Student Success to lead a five-year Title III grant awarded by the U.S. Department of Education. The Project entitled “ACTIVATE” (Advising, Careers, Technology, Innovation, and Virtual Augmentation for Transformational Education) is designed to improve student outcomes through a focus on enhancing the virtual education environment, online instructional innovation, and improved student services. This position is fully supported through the Title III project and is a 12-month position subject to continued federal funding annually and there is 2.5 years remaining in this grant.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Master’s degree
• Experience supervising employees
• Project management experience including fiscal responsibility
• Experience working in a college
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Education and/or credentials appropriate for college teaching
• Title III Project experience
• Demonstrated sensitivity and experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds
• Progressive experience supervising employees and fiscal project management experience
• Experience with college advising
• Experience working in a community college environment
• Knowledge and/or experience with the Appreciative Advising Model
• Experience with Student Services onboarding in a community college environment
• Knowledge of transfer articulation with four-year institutions
Compensation includes an annual salary commensurate with background and experience, and a comprehensive benefits and leave package.
