TRANSFER INFORMATION
Transferring Classes & Degrees
If you'd like to pursue an education beyond an associate degree, ASU-Mountain Home can assist with transferring your credits to a four-year institution. We have partnered with several Arkansas four-year institutions to make it easier for our students to transfer their classes or degrees to other institutions.
The Arkansas Course Transfer System (ACTS) contains information about the transferability of courses within Arkansas public colleges and universities. Students are guaranteed the transfer of applicable credits and equitable treatment in the application of credits for admissions and degree requirements. Students may complete specified General Education courses anywhere in the public system as well as many courses in the degree/major that have been pre-identified for transfer. We hope this site is helpful for students, parents and campus personnel. This system is designed to assist in planning from the high school level through the adult workforce.
ASUMH has partnerships with several 4-year institutions for students to complete their Bachelor's Degree. These are called 2+2 Transfer Agreements.
If you attended ASU-Mountain Home, but transferred to another institution before obtaining your degree, you could be eligible for an associate degree by transferring credits back to ASUMH. Here are the steps to see if you are eligible:
- Complete a Reverse Transfer Participation Form
- Send your Official Transcripts
- We will evaluate your transcripts and inform you if you qualify.
If you have any questions or would like more information on Reverse Transfer, please contact the Registrar's Office at ASUMH. registrar@asumh.edu or (870) 508-6100.
