20+ clubs, Campus Events, and a Community Waiting for You
Getting involved is one of the best ways to make ASUMH feel like home — with more than 20 clubs and organizations to choose from, there's a place for every interest, whether you're looking to build your resume, meet new friends, or just have fun outside of class. Throughout the year, campus comes alive with annual events that bring students, faculty, and the community together, from Welcome Week kicking off the semester to TrailGate closing it out in style.
Each year the Office of Student Services hosts Welcome Week. The event is primarily designed to facilitate interaction between new students and returning students, faculty and staff. This event gives new students an opportunity to see the different types of organizations we have on campus. It also gives the organizations a chance to recruit new members.
Students and faculty celebrate Constitution Day each September 17 with campus events, voter registration drives, and historical presentations led by faculty.
One of the most exciting events of the year! Join PTK for a campus-wide Halloween Party featuring games, music, a movie, great food, and a fun costume contest. Open to all students, faculty, and staff—come celebrate, connect, and make unforgettable memories!
Building the Bridge is a student-focused campus gathering held in The Nest where students share ideas and collaborate to improve campus life. This is an open forum for students to offer feedback and propose new solutions for the college community with the goal of enhancing student connection and engagement under the TrailBlazers campus life initiative.
Friendsgiving is a pre-Thanksgiving gathering for students, staff and faculty at ASUMH...it's held at the Dr. Robin Myers Technical Education Campus, typically in mid-November right before fall break.
The ASUMH TrailGate is an annual community and campus event featuring free food, family and tailgating activities, and TrailBlazer baseball! Held at the Lester White Baseball Field at Cooper Park in Mountain Home.
