Apex Lecture Series

APEX LECTURE SERIES

Designed to Inspire Beyond the Classroom...

The goal of Apex is for an ASUMH student, in collaboration with an ASUMH faculty member, to pursue and research a subject of inquiry, evaluate the subject’s significance, create a project reflecting the scholarship, and share the experience with ASUMH and the Mountain Home community through a lecture series.

APEX is designed to inspire an ASUMH student to expand interest in a subject of inquiry beyond traditional classroom exposure. A student who desires to explore a topic, conduct scholarly research, and create a product to showcase learning is encouraged to consider APEX.

Promoting collaborative scholarship between an ASUMH student and faculty member beyond the classroom, the ASUMH APEX Fellowship encourages the following activities:

Exploration of a subject of inquiry
 Evaluation of the subject’s significance
Creation of a project (will vary depending on subject matter) reflecting the scholarship
Presentation of the scholarship to ASUMH and the community
