About This Program
Mechatronics is a new and rapidly growing field that integrates electronics, mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and computer control systems to create new and improved automated manufacturing production systems. This program is designed for people who are interested in plant maintenance, set up, installation and assembly. Jobs are found in the manufacturing, medical, electronics, agriculture, and automotive industries so this major is a great choice for students seeking the knowledge and skills necessary to be employed in laboratory, field- testing, manufacturing and assembly, quality assurance, manufacturing technician, and other related fields.

>Any student who earns the Associate of Applied Science at ASUMH may be admitted to the Bachelor of Applied Science in Organizational Supervision at ASUJ in either the on-campus or A-State Online program with full junior classification, subject to completing the admission requirements for ASUJ.
