11th Performing Arts Season Opens with Kyiv Ballet on October 11
On February 23, 2022, when the Kyiv City Ballet flew from the company's home base in the Ukrainian capital to Paris, embarking on a long-planned tour of Europe, none of its members knew they were saying goodbye to their home country for an indeterminate length of time. The very next day, the Russian army invaded Ukraine.
The ten-year-old company - which includes more than 35 dancers, as well as teachers, administrators, lighting and makeup designers - have been touring France, the UK, and the Czech Republic. They arrive in Mountain Home, Arkansas, on October 11th to present Swan Lake. Join us to welcome this incredible team of dancers to their only performance in Arkansas! This show opens the 11th Performing Arts Series at ASUMH.
Individual tickets for the Kyiv Ballet performance of Swan Lake are available online at www.thesheid.com and are $40 for adults and $20 for students. Season tickets are $130 for adults and $65 for students and include one ticket for each of the four shows in the 11th season!
Season tickets for Patrons and Season Ticket Holders are being held online based on last season's seating and are on sale now at The Sheid or by calling 870-508-6280.
