The 23rd annual Mountain Home Charity Golf Classic sponsored by Yelcot is slated for June 8 & 9, 2024. It will be held at Big Creek Golf and Country Club. This 3-person scramble allows players the chance at daily hole-in-one prizes, including a 2024 Jeep Wrangler Sport. Complimentary lunch is provided both days as well as dinner Saturday night. Teams can sign up at asumh.edu/golf.
Over the past 22 years, generous contributions to this annual event have raised over $555,500. All proceeds from this year’s tournament will benefit the Arkansas State University-Mountain Home Dr. Robert L. Myers Technical Education Campus. ASUMH’s Technical Education Campus works with local industry and other employers. ASUMH developed technical programs needed to serve our region. Including: Welding, Mechatronics, Automotive Services, and Boat Manufacturing. As an approved site by the Arkansas Department of Career Education, this 25,000 square foot secondary center also provides training for area high school juniors and seniors with the opportunity to earn college credit while still in high school.
