Arkansas State University-Mountain Home (ASUMH) will present Forever Young on Tuesday, March 11, in the Vada Sheid Community Development Center. The 7:00 PM performance is part of the 13th anniversary season of performing arts at ASUMH and is funded partly through the Haley Cultural Arts Endowment.
Forever Young follows one unforgettable group of friends as they discover the greatest hits of all time! Set in a music-filled suburban basement, this unbelievable heartfelt true story is guaranteed to take you back to the first time you pushed play, tuned in, and set the needle down. Featuring songs by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Huey Lewis & The News, Styx, Queen, Michael Jackson, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Brooks & Dunn, The Black Crows, Bon Jovi, and many more, this multi-award-winning production is jam-packed with powerhouse vocals, amazing sets, dynamite choreography, and one sensational true story that is guaranteed to make you feel…FOREVER YOUNG.
The show features the greatest hits of all time including "The Boys Are Back in Town," "Brown Eyed Girl," "Roll Over Beethoven," "For the Longest Time/Uptown Girl," "I'd Like To Teach the World To Sing," "The Power of Love," "Hard to Handle," "With a Little Help From My Friends," "Luck Be a Lady," "That's Life," "Crazy Little Thing Called Love," "Small Town," "One (Is the Loneliest Number)," "Heroes," "Takin' Care of Business," "Draggin' the Line," "Hard Workin' Man," "Satisfaction," "Big Man in Town," "Pressure," "New York State of Mind," "Forever Young," and more!
Tickets for the 7:00 PM production are available at www.thesheid.com, or by calling 870-508-6280. Tickets: Adults: $40 +fees Students: $20 +fees. Tickets may also be purchased in person at the Vada Sheid Community Development Center on the campus of ASUMH during normal business hours and one hour before the show in the Box Office. A reception will be held at 6:00 PM in the Trout Room for Patrons of the Performing Arts at ASUMH.
