Arkansas State University–Mountain Home is proud to announce that Jediah L. Dillon, a standout student, has been selected to participate in the inaugural Arkansas Liberal Arts and Humanities Day, to be held at the Arkansas State Capitol Rotunda in Little Rock on Thursday, November 13. Undergraduate and graduate students in the liberal arts and humanities disciplines, including fine arts and social sciences, are invited to present their performances, creative projects, and scholarly work at the Capitol Rotunda.
This event celebrates the power of human expression, culture, and critical inquiry while giving students a platform to engage with policymakers, educators, and community leaders. It’s a unique opportunity to spotlight creative excellence and foster meaningful connections across disciplines.
Jediah’s presentation, titled “The Life and Legacy of Sir Isaac Newton Told Through an Animated Short,” was chosen for inclusion in the event’s official abstract book. This prestigious gathering will feature student-led research and creative works from across the state, celebrating the importance of humanities and liberal arts in shaping Arkansas’s future.
Jediah and fellow presenters are encouraged to invite their state senators and representatives to attend and engage with the showcased projects.
The ASUMH community congratulates Jediah on this achievement and looks forward to seeing his work represented at the Capitol.
